A main stay of almost every French pâtisserie, Opera Cake or Gâteau opéra with its many layers is popularly believed to have been named after Paris’ Opéra Garnier. Combining the classic flavours of coffee, chocolate and almond, our Opera Cake features a crunchy hazelnut base, coffee flavoured Hungarian buttercream, almond Joconde sponge and rich chocolate ganache.

Dietary Information

The standard Opera contains the following common allergens:

  • gluten (flour)
  • eggs
  • milk (butter, milk, cream & chocolate)
  • tree nuts (almonds & hazelnuts)
  • soy (chocolate)

Please note the standard Opera also contains gelatine.

Low gluten, nut substitute and gelatine substitute versions are available.

Please note that all our cakes are made in the same kitchen as products containing gluten, dairy and nuts. While every effort is made to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot 100% guarantee that our products will be free from traces of these allergens.
